This Canadian Rockies/Alberta tour is called the Best of the Canadian Rockies. This 8 day tour will take you to several national parks like Jasper, Athabasca and Banff National Park. Your Tauck tour features several exclusive experiences like a helicopter tour, known locally as flightseeing, over the Three Sisters Peaks for views of breathtaking scenery and a world of adventure.
Over these 8 days you’ll learn about, experience and enjoy the Canadian Rockies home to some of the most interesting flora and fauna this far north of the equator. The Best of the Canadian Rockies tour starts out in Kananaskis country at the foothills of the Canadian Rockies. You’ll go on an expert-guided tour of Moraine Lake, one of the most photographed spots in all of Canada. Your tour continues along the Icefields Parkway and begin your exploration of Jasper Park. As your 8 day tour comes to a close you’ll spend time in Banff Park which is lined with excellent shops and markets.

Not Included
- The customary gratuities for the Tauck Director and local drivers are not included. We ask that gratuities be extended on a voluntary, individual basis and not as a group.
- All items of a personal nature (room service, beverages, telephone charges, laundry, dry cleaning, special food requests, etc.) and meals not specified on the tour itinerary are not included and must be paid by the client.
- Airline excess luggage charges, vaccinations, visa fees and services, airport arrival and departure taxes, individual airport transfers (when applicable), and other optional or incidental extras are not included.

Flightseeing, Yoho & Banff, and on to Lake Louise Location Information Description

Weather permitting, start the day with a morning helicopter excursion* that showcases the stunning Three Sisters Peaks. Then head high up into the Canadian Rockies and cross the Continental Divide through Kicking Horse Pass on a day of Alberta travel on which you'll see some of the most beautiful lakes in North America, including Lake Louise, where you'll have lunch.

A Moraine Lake Excursion & Resort Leisure Location Information Description

Come along with our naturalist guide today for an excursion (weather permitting) to lovely Moraine Lake, one of the most photographed spots in all of Canada, located in the Valley of the Ten Peaks. This glacially fed lake reflects the awe-inspiring beauty that prompted explorer Walter Wilcox, who named it Moraine Lake after the moraine, or rock pile, deposited by the Wenkchemna Glacier, to write “no scene had ever given me an equal impression of inspiring solitude and rugged grandeur,” adding that his time spent contemplating the view was the happiest half-hour of his life.
In the event of adverse weather conditions, join Tauck's naturalist guide for a tour of Lake Louise. Return to The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise to spend the rest of the day as you wish.

Continue your Alberta vacation with a day spent exploring magnificent Jasper National Park with your choice of an included "Jasper Your Way" discovery tour. You may choose from among an Athabasca River whitewater rafting adventure* led by Rocky Mountain River Guides; a "Wildlife Discovery Tour," joining a wildlife interpreter to search for bear, elk and more; or a trip on the Jasper Tramway through alpine tundra, leading to the interesting alpine town of Jasper.

Today is yours to explore Banff National Park and environs as you please. You may wish to check out the village of Banff, which, with its spectacular scenery and trendy shops and boutiques, has grown over the decades to rival the chic alpine villages of the American Rockies. There are also many optional activities to choose from (available at an additional cost) in Banff National Park itself. You can ride the Banff gondola, take a guided nature walk, go horseback riding, mountain biking, or canoeing on the Bow River. Play a round of golf at your world-famous resort, or perhaps book an alpine aromatherapy massage at the Willow Stream Spa, ranked among the top spas in Canada.
The week comes to a conclusion tonight at a special farewell reception at The Banff Centre, a world-renowned cultural center where creativity in the performing arts is fostered and new works are created. Your evening includes a special musical performance and dinner overlooking the gorgeous Bow Valley, where the views are a feast for the heart and a great finale to your Alberta vacation.

Travel back to Calgary, approximately 80 miles. Tauck's spectacular Alberta vacation experience ends at 10:00 AM at Calgary International Airport. Guests spending additional nights in Calgary will be transferred to The Westin Calgary upon arrival; a transfer from The Westin Calgary to Calgary International Airport is included. Please arrange flights from Calgary to your final destination for after 12:00 noon. Allow a minimum of three hours for check-in.

Cancellation Policy
- 60 days or more before departure: $350.00 per person
- 59-8 days before departure: $600.00 per person
- 7-1 days before departure: $900.00 per person
- On departure day and later: 100% of total price
- Any changes or cancellations to airline reservations made through Tauck either before or after departure are subject to the cancellation / change policies of the individual airlines. In n some instances these cancellation / change fees may be up to 100% of the ticket price.
- Cancellation fees may also apply to any additional services, including extra night accommodations, independently supplied services, and optional excursions reserved prior to, during, and after the tour. If flight changes, including, but not limited to, flight cancellations or name changes, are requested after full land and air deposits are received, revision fees, change fees, or airline cancellation fees will apply.
- All cancellations must be received in writing prior to tour departure. The cancellation policy will apply according to the date that the cancellation notification is received. The MINIMUM cancellation penalty is the deposit amount.
- The purchase to trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended.

- Land only “from price” is per person based on two people sharing a room together and does not include airfare unless expressly stated.
- All prices are in US Dollars.
- A $350 non-refundable, non-transferable, per-person, per-vacation deposit is required to reserve space for you. Payment of the deposit indicates you have read and accepted all Terms & Conditions. Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit payment is processed and you receive a confirmation invoice.
- Final payment is due 75 days prior to departure. Within the final payment date, payment in full is required at time of booking to reserve space. Reservations (land, cruise, and air) are canceled if final payment is not received by the due date.
- Additional deposits or payments are required for international air added to the start and/or end of your vacation.
