National Geographic Endurance
About National Geographic Endurance
National Geographic Endurance is the most advanced ice-class expedition ship afloat, offering unprecedented access to polar regions. The first new polar build in Lindblad’s 50-year history, she is named in honor of explorer Ernest Shackleton and his legendary Transantarctic Expedition.
This fully-stabilized vessel, of the highest ice class (PC5 Category A), enables adventurous guests to explore areas where few have ventured. National Geographic Endurance’s most striking exterior feature is her distinctive profile, the patented X-Bow®. This game-changing design guarantees the smoothest, most comfortable ride in all kinds of conditions and eliminates bow impact for a quieter journey.
Carrying just 138 guests, National Geographic Endurance emphasizes expedition excellence. Her luxuriously appointed interiors are inviting and could be a destination in themselves. However, as a Lindblad expedition ship, her focus is on the world outside. Acres of window glass keep guests connected to the stunning views.
All cabins are outward-facing and feature large windows. Equipped with climate control, an expedition command center including tablets, multiple electrical and USB outlets, a TV, barometer, a National Geographic Atlas, and more — a mini refrigerator, small safe, and robes - the cabins are designed for comfort and convenience. Bathrooms are outfitted with a rain shower and directional showerhead, botanically inspired products, and a hair dryer. Guests can enjoy luxury linens and pillows, as well as complimentary insulated water bottles.
For an elevated experience, booking a suite aboard the Lindblad Expeditions-National Geographic fleet provides an elegant retreat at sea. Suites feature spacious living areas and incredible views that immerse guests in the beauty of their marine surroundings. The new Suite Exclusives package enhances the onboard experience with amenities and perks such as: Welcome gift, priority booking for spa treatments, priority booking for igloo stays, in-room espresso maker and complimentary laundry.
The National Geographic Endurance offers a variety of enriching onboard experiences to help you learn more about the places you visit. All educational opportunities, including engaging lectures from guest speakers and kids' programs through National Geographic Global Explorers program, are complimentary. Activities and excursions are always included in the price of your voyage, allowing you to take part in as many experiences as your schedule permits.
Sampling local cuisine is a highlight of the onboard experience, and the executive chefs take great care to bring the culinary riches of each destination to the meals you enjoy on board. From delectable hors d’oeuvres at cocktail hour to gourmet multi-course meals, each dining program offers a diverse range of options served in multiple venues, including casual cafés and elegant sit-down restaurants. Guests can celebrate their journey with unlimited complimentary beer, wine, cocktails, and spirits, while premium selections are available for purchase.
Embark on a journey of relaxation and enrichment with onboard amenities and wellness options, including rejuvenating saunas, modern fitness centers, and expert-led sunrise yoga sessions. Afterward, immerse yourself in the dedicated wellness spaces, featuring tranquil treatment rooms.
The ship ensures an unforgettable journey that seamlessly integrates adventure, relaxation, and culinary delight for all guests aboard.
