Dining Onboard Princess Cruises
Step aboard a Princess cruise ship and into a world of culinary variety that you will never forget. That variety will take you from hand-tossed pizza to caviar, from gastropubs to French cuisine and from black tie venues to stateroom delights. Celebrity chefs helm a culinary crew determined to provide the highest level of service - whether it be poolside or tableside. Let these award-winning chefs create meals that you'll not only enjoy but be talking about for years to come. Meals are served both at predetermined times (breakfast, lunch and dinner) as well as anytime dining when you choose when to eat.
Princess offers Traditional Dining where guests can reserve either main or late dining (6:30PM or 8:30PM). With Traditional Dining guests will be seated at the same table each night to enjoy the same tablemates and wait staff.
Anytime Dining is also offered. With Anytime Dining guests are free to dine at any time between 5:30PM and 10:00PM without advanced reservations. Anytime Dining is not available on the Sun Princess, Dawn Princess and Sea Princess (while in Australia), or Pacific Princess. Anytime Dining is not available on Diamond Princess while in Japan.
Princess offers an all-inclusive beverage package to prevent any unforeseen charges as your vacation comes to a close. Non-alcoholic and coffee packages are available as well.
24 Hour International Café
The International Cafe is located in the Piazza and, as the name implies, is open 24-hours for your convenience. A friendly and helpful staff will serve you coffee and treats as the sun rises and soups, salads and sandwiches as it sets on the deck of your ship. Don't miss out on their famous freshly baked cookies.
Alfredo's Pizzeria
Alfredo's Pizzeria is helmed by Master Chef Alfredo Marzi and consistently takes Italian dining to new levels. Watch in excitement as chefs hand-toss your custom pizza and send it on a short journey through the oven. Pizza-lovers will feel at home in this cozy restaurant and even the pickiest of pie-tasters will enjoy Marzi's delights.
Burger and Hot Dog Grill
With a stated goal to make food fast and fresh, shaking away what you've come to learn from other ‘fast food' options on land. From a simple hot dog or cheeseburger to a house-made sausage with sauerkraut, you'll find all your traditional (and not-so traditional) favorites at the Burger and Hot Dog Grill.
Horizon Court Buffet
If it's a variety you're looking for, Horizon Court Buffet is your target destination. Enjoy your breakfast, lunch and dinner in casual surroundings and keep your eye open for the Crab Shack on select evenings. Selections change not only daily but by the hour so keep your eye on this buffet as it always delivers great food in the most convenient of ways.
Movies and Munchies
With a name that lives up to the hype, Movie and Munchies is a mix of everyone's two favorite things: movies and snack food. Watch a hit movie under the stars while you enjoy your favorite foods on deck.
The Pizzeria
Grab a slice of what USA Today calls the ‘best pizza at sea' and enjoy the sights and sounds of your Princess cruise ship. Go traditional or switch it up with some more adventurous toppings if you're in the mood. There's no better option for a quick meal with the love, care and more importantly taste that Princess is known for - get one to stay or on the go.
Soft Serve on Deck
For those of us that like a nice cool treat on a hot day, what's better than soft-serve with a view? Watch as you pull into your favorite destination and keep yourself cool as you enjoy the soft-serve flavor of your choice.
Main Dining Room
Guests can choose Traditional or Anytime Dining in the main dining room on all Princess ships. The multicourse menus begin with a selection of appetizers followed by a selection of salads, soups and pastas. The main course offers a variety of freshly made seafood dishes, poultry and meat entrees as well as vegetarian options. Dinner ends with a selection of decadent desserts such as Cappuccino Chocolate Fudge Cake, Orange Grand Marnier Souffle, Artisian Cheeses and a selection of ice creams, just to name a few.
Bayou Cafe*
Bayou Cafe is the first New Orleans-inspired specialty restaurant at sea. The authentic Cajun and Creole cuisine will transport you back to the French Quarter. Bayou favorites like gumbo, peel-n-eat shrimp, jambalaya and more bring some excitement to your plate as you dine in one of the most exciting restaurants Princess has to offer.
Chef's Table*
The Chef's Table Experience is one not to be missed. The evening begins with a personal galley tour escorted by the Maitre d'. Here guests will meet the executive chef and be treated to champagne and appetizers as the chef describes the evening's exclusive menu. After being seated at their special table the extraordinary multi-course meal will begin.
Each course is unique and the guests will learn about the special features and how each course is prepared. Each course will be paired with specially selected wines. At the end of the evening, while dessert is being served, the chef will join the guests to answer questions and provide insights about his culinary background and experience. Guests will each receive an autographed copy of Princess' best-selling cookbook, Courses, A Culinary Journey, as well as taking a complimentary photo at the table with the chef.
Up to 10 guests can experience the Chef's table each evening. Reservations are required.
Crown Grill*
For those cruise travelers on the hunt for a high-end steak experience Crown Grill is the place to see, be seen and eat the best steak of your life. Chefs truly put on a show in a theater-style kitchen, whipping up cooked-to-order steaks, seafood and lobster. Make your reservations early for a great spot and a fantastic meal at Crown Grill.
Kai Sushi*
This stunningly designed sushi bar will transport you to Japan as you dine on the finest sushi, sashimi and other favorites. Experts prepare these fresh delights as you bask in the fantastic views and enjoy the delightfully fresh Asian menu items.
Sabatinis*
Sabatinis has many menu items that will remind of the home-cooked delights one might expect in a Tuscan villa. For those of us who haven’t been to a Tuscan villa, we’ll take the word of USA Today as they called Sabatinis one of the ‘Best Cruise Ship Specialty Restaurants’. One visit to this Italian eatery will remind you why it remains one of Princess Cruises favorite restaurants. Even returning cruise travelers will make it a point to visit again.
The Salty Dog*
Ernesto Uchimura doesn’t just know his way around an umami burger - he literally invented them. The founding chef of the original Umami Burger brings his chops to The Salty Dog and his creations to your plate. If you’re a fan of beer, whiskey and out-of-this world gastropub creations, The Salty Dog is for you.

At Share, he takes his amazing creations from the TV screen to a realm where you can smell and taste them aboard a Princess Cruises ship. The menu at Share offers a dining experience that will bring your group together through food. Charcuterie, soups and salads get you started and lobster, ruck and pasta guide you into a desert you won’t soon forget.
Sterling Steakhouse*
This premium seafood and chop house is essentially the greatest father’s day gift come to life. New York strips, Porterhouse and Filet highlight the proteins and red skin mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus round out the plate. These are just a few of the many options at what is arguably the most popular restaurant onboard a Princess cruise.
Room Service
Princess offers 24-hour room service to your stateroom. While a wide variety of options are available free of charge, there are some items such as alcohol and specialty meals that require an additional fee. Just pick up the phone and make a reservation onboard and let this amazing, experienced crew do the work.
